Grandmother's remedy against malaria or fever and gastric ulcer

Fever is an increase in body temperature above 38°C, reflecting an organism's defense reaction.

Causes of fever

It occurs most often in bacterial, viral or parasitic infections. It can also be triggered by chronic inflammatory diseases, cancers or certain drug reactions. Fever is therefore a warning signal that the immune system is mobilized against aggression.

Symptoms of fever

In addition to rising temperatures, fever is accompanied by chills, abundant sweats, intense fatigue and sometimes headache or muscle pain. In children, it may cause irritability or febrile seizures.

Ulcer

Gastric or duodenal ulcer is a deep damage to the digestive mucosa, exposing the underlying layers to acidity.

Causes

The main cause is infection with the bacteria Helicobacter pylori, which weakens the mucosa. Long-term use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, smoking and physiological stress are also contributing factors.

Symptoms

The ulcer manifests itself in epigastric pain, often described as burns or cramps, occurring after meals or at night. It can cause nausea, vomiting and, in serious cases, digestive bleeding visible through bloody vomiting or black stools.
